Terms & Conditions – ELFIGO Mobility Rentals

1. Rental Eligibility

  • By booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into this agreement.
  • Rental equipment is intended for individuals with mobility needs and must be used responsibly.
  • From 2026 onwards, mobility scooters may only be used by individuals with medical needs, in accordance with Singapore regulations. Hirers of mobility scooters are strongly advised to carry a doctor’s memo as proof of medical need. This requirement does not apply to electric wheelchair rentals.

2. Rental Period

  • Rental charges are based on 24-hour periods or part thereof, starting from the confirmed booking start time.
  • Pick-up and return are available only during our business hours.
  • If your rental end time falls on a Sunday or Public Holiday, return can only be made on the next business day, and rental charges will continue until return.

3. Delivery & Collection

  • Delivery and collection services are available for an additional fee.
  • Deliveries or collections outside regular hours are not available. To make things easier, we will deliver your mobility aid to your hotel concierge before the start of your booking and collect it from the concierge after your booking ends.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your hotel concierge accepts the delivery and secures the equipment until handover.
  • We do not deliver or collect from airports or cruise terminals.

4. Equipment Care & Use

  • You agree to use the equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • The equipment must not be taken outside Singapore.
  • You are responsible for preventing damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during your rental period.

5. Security & Charges

  • We do not require an upfront deposit.
  • By completing the booking, you authorise ELFIGO Mobility to charge up to SGD 400 to your credit card in the event of:
    • non-return of the equipment,
    • loss or theft, or
    • damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • For partial loss or damage (e.g., missing charger), a proportionate charge will apply.

6. Liability

  • ELFIGO Mobility is not liable for injury, accident, or damages arising from misuse of the equipment.
  • Customers are responsible for checking the equipment condition upon receipt and reporting any issues immediately.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • No refunds for early returns.
  • Goodwill partial refunds may be issued at our discretion but are not guaranteed.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.
